About Simon’s Kitchen…
Simon’s Kitchen is a mobile catering company based in Moretonhampstead. We have been running for 3 years and use our trailer to provide pop up takeaway to our surrounding area. We also cater events and private functions. Our pop up takeaway is mainly Indian/ Asian with some European dishes on occasion as specials.
We will be serving curries at the show, there will be a meat and vegan option and possibly a fish curry along with onion bhajis, Bombay potatoes and poppadum’s accompanied by our mango chutney, cucumber raita and red hot chili paste, there may even be some of our cardamom and orange chocolate brownies to finish.
We make our curries from scratch, toasting and grinding whole spices to provide aroma and flavour. Using traditional recipes and contemporary ideas to create exciting menus full of flavour. Our curries are not made with lots of chilli as the heat can be off putting for many, we make a very fresh and hot chilli paste to add that fiery kick if required.
We avoid wheat gluten and lactose in our food and use only biodegradable packaging. Our ingredients are sourced locally where possible, using local suppliers and small companies is important to us.
