Exhibition of Classic Vehicles

Following the initial trail exhibition in 2022, and with a more then equal success in 2023 with a greater number of vehicles, we are again planning for 2024, with increased spaces for classic vehicles.

Owned and maintained by local owners, this collection can be found surrounding the Dog Show Rings in the Dog Show Field, the entrance to which is at the top of the Main Show Field.

“We were only discussing today which of Louisette’s (the car!) outings this summer we had enjoyed most. Lustleigh was top of both our lists.  A lovely traditional day out with the friendliest of organisations, and the best mix of catering around – what’s not to like!”

I am planning my shows for this year and would like to ask if it is possible for me to bring my tractor to your show

It is a very rare 1965 Massey Ferguson 2130

There were less than 100 built and only 9 others to my knowledge are in existence and mine is the only example being shown at present, it is now fitted with a working 1972 PTO driven “Teagle Cement Mixer”

I am not a tractor owner who just drops it off; I do stay with my tractor and answer questions about it,

I do allow small children to sit on it and have their photo taken by their parent or guardian as I feel that this is all part of what the show is about

As it’s a yellow tractor I do put on it a “Bob the Builder” figure also if the child wants to put on “Bob the Builders “ hat, I have one of those on the bonnet of the tractor that they can use in a photo

I have had stickers made this year with a picture of the tractor on it and the words “I’ve sat on Bobs Tractor” to be given out free of charge to the children’s parent/guardians

Please note, you cannot use Bob the Builder in your show adverts due to copy right
I have the means to advertise shows on my trailer that I use to bring the tractor on and I can take up to four A3 posters

As I will be traveling from show to show in Devon this summer I would only be too pleased to advertise your show in advance if you could get a poster to me ASAP or a download of it

An early reply would be grateful as the month your show is on there are a lot of shows to go to

    Yours truly

      Hi Emmett,
We expect to post the entry form dor completion very soon now – we just had to clear the wording of a requirement with our insurers, which has now been completed.
