Ring 2 – Agility Starts 11.00 am
We are delighted to welcome back local members of LEADS Agility Club to this year’s show. They will be carrying out their very popular Agility Demonstration and taking a look at Canine Scentwork! The day will be broken up as follows:
11.00 am – Canine Scent Work.
Have you ever thought about the power of your dogs nose? It has been estimated that a dog can smell anywhere from 1,000 – 10,000 times better than a human! In this demonstration we will work with the dogs nose to show you what they are capable of. We will then let your dogs come and have a go and see if they can find the hidden treat!
1.30 pm – Agility Demonstration & Competition
The team will do their very popular Agility demonstration with dogs from small to large, to show what fun you can have with your dog. This will be followed by a competition with rosettes to 4th place. Could you and your dog be the next Agility champion! It’s great fun for adults, children & dogs and very noisy, so come and have a go.
Just £2 to enter. CASH only please.
Ring 3 – Gundog Scurry Starts 11.30 am
If your dog likes to retrieve, then this could be the place for you! Your dog doesn’t need to be a gundog – just enthusiastic.
Demonstrations 11.30 & 12.30 each followed by the opportunity to let your dog have a go & practice. Adults & children will all enjoy having a go.
There are five memory retrieves using training dummies and tennis balls hidden in cover – maybe in water or behind a fence. The dogs love it, spectators love it.
Gun Dog Scurry Competition Starts 2.00 pm
Come and put into practice what the dogs & you have learnt in the morning with the same memory retrieves.
Its great fun, the dogs love it and you could win the coveted “Mike Davies Trophy” for the fastest round.
£2 a go CASH only please.
