At Stable House Studios, we love art and design. Whether you like pocket-sized art in the form of a greeting card or larger fine art prints, we hope you will find something that tickles your fancy in our collections. We have individual cards, sets of cards and limited edition prints.
About us…
Established in 2019, we are a small, family-run business with lots of life experience in and out of the design industry and education. The team at Stable House Studios is headed up by Jo Downs (Artist/ Skipper) and Dave Callan (Chief Problem Solver/ Helmsman), with the invaluable support of our amazing, behind-the-scenes team.
We are passionate about this amazing world we live in, its beauty, its fragility and our shared responsibility to look after it. We are fully committed to reducing environmental impact by making eco-choices about papers, processes and packaging. We live, work and walk every day in the inspirational Devon countryside, surrounded by greenery, cream teas and muddy paws. Our designs are all inspired by Nature, the greatest work of art of all: animals, insects, flowers, trees, Dartmoor National Park and the blue beauty that is our Earth.
When we are not at the Lustleigh Show, we can be found doodling on Dartmoor at Stable House Studios, Stable House, Lustleigh, Devon, TQ13 9TB. You might have seen our studio, right next door to Primrose Tearooms in the heart of the village. If not, why not pay us – and them – a visit sometime soon for a lovely treat? Or you might have seen some of our products in retail outlets elsewhere in Devon, including the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centres.
It is our goal to offer a first class, efficient and personal service. It makes us happy to think we can make you happy.
