Skittles

Another classic, this was in the not so distance past sometimes called ‘Bowling for the Pig’, where the lucky winner took home a whole live pig.

We still have the original bowling balls made of a hard, dense wood called Lignum vitae, or wood of life. So dense is this wood, that it does not float and is the hardest wood known.

However, these original bowling balls are so heavy that they are unsuitable for use by children, so we now use croquet balls instead.

We still use the original skittles however, so come along and demonstrate your skills.
