Our 48 page newspaper currently has a circulation of around 3,000 which is steadily increasing. Smiths news deliver The Moorlander to retailers across Dartmoor including Tesco, Spar, Co-op, McColls etc. In addition to this we personally deliver copies to cafes, hotels, tourist attractions and so on as well as handing out copies on the high streets of the main towns we distribute to: Ashburton, Bovey Tracey, Chagford, Moretonhampstead, Okehampton, Princetown, Ivybridge, Buckfastleigh and Tavistock amongst others.

We also take a stand to local festivals and shows. As well as raising the profile of the newspaper this allows us to maintain a relationship with the people of Dartmoor and is a good source of feedback in terms of meeting the needs of readers and advertisers alike. The Moorlander

The Moorlander costs 50p and a percentage of the profits goes to our nominated charity, Dartmoor Search and Rescue.

Advertising with the Moorlander couldn’t be easier. We have a range of sizes and a competitive pricing scale. We provide all measurements in a handy size guide for those who wish to provide their own artwork. We also have an in house designer for those who would like advertising designed for them. And we have a unique business card section which offers a simple, inexpensive introduction to advertising for smaller or new businesses and is also a way for more established ones to maintain a presence.
