Lustleigh (HG 1944) Rifle Club
The Lustleigh (Home Guard 1944) Rifle Club, to give it’s full name, traces its origins back to 1944 and continues unbroken to this day.
Not many people realise that the length of the main room of the new Village Hall (built 2005) is designed to meet the requirements of the National Small-bore Rifle Association to permit Competition Shooting. (The width is designed to fit the staging units)
The Show has provided funds for the Rifle Club to replace and upgrade the spot-lamp target lighting with LED type lighting, no doubt in an effort to improve their target scores.
Fancy a go at target shooting?
