Lustleigh Dairy & Post Office
The Local Village Store and Post Office Selling Groceries, Fruit, Vegetables, Beer, Wine and Newspapers oh and a Post Office too.
About Lustleigh Dairy & Post Office…
Unlike many of the small villages and hamlets dotted across Dartmoor, Lustleigh has its own village shop, offering a warm welcome from it’s proprietors Dean and Shirley. Here, you’ll find a Post Office Local offering a full range of Banking and Postal services, as well as a wide range of essential items from it’s well stocked grocery, fresh food and fruit and vegetable shelves (as well as many specialities- clotted cream, anyone?)
Once upon a time, the village had its own dedicated post office, a school, a general store, a second-hand shop and grocers. Today, the only shop that remains is that of the Dairy, taking on many of those lost services.
The Dairy is dedicated to helping customers shop local. Helping customers cut down on carbon emissions and travel costs plus supporting many local suppliers, of which we currently support 28.
On the stall today we would like to raise awareness of the importance of supporting your local village stores as many are closing due to increased running costs.
We have on offer today an amazing raffle, with prizes of £300 to spend in The Dairy and a Hamper which incudes many locally sourced items.
It would be great to see you, please pop along to our stall to meet members of our Lustleigh Dairy Supporters Group.
