About the show

Lustleigh Dog Show is one of the most popular events in the show calendar, with crowds gathering as soon as the gates open to enter their dogs.

This year, we are even bigger and better, and the dog show now has its own field, with three large rings, where you can bring your prize pooch, or just cheer on the fabulous four-legged friends taking to the show ring in one of the 13 classes that we host.

These are listed below, or scroll down for a copy you can download.

Ring 2 – Agility

Starts 11.30am

This year Lustleigh Show are delighted to be welcoming back Agility! Local members of LEADS Agility Club will be demonstrating how they prepare their dogs for Agility and then demonstrating over a jumping course. They will then ask for lots of cheering as they take on a ‘Team Weave Challenge’!  Agility is a great way to have fun with your dog whilst keeping both you and your dog fit and active and at the end of the demonstration, you will be invited to ‘have a go’ for fun!

Ring 3 – Gundog Scurry

Starts 11am

If your dog likes to retrieve, then this could be the place for you!

Your dog doesn’t need to be a gundog – just enthusiastic!

There are five memory retrieves using training dummies and tennis balls hidden in cover – maybe in water or behind a fence.

The dogs love it, spectators love it, and you could win the coveting ‘Whiz Cup’ for the fastest round.

Rosettes to fourth place, and just £1 to enter.
